98 xlt with 99 ranger rims ??? opinions ?

I getting a set of 99 ranger rims with 235/70/16 Michelin Tires and I was wondering about everyone thoughts .. the new rims are bigger but I read that the rims had a different backspacing ?? I have the stock teardrop rims now.. here is a picture of the rims and tires I want to use.

Those are from an '02+ Explorer. They have alot more back spacing than your stock ones. They will sit further in the wheel well and may contact you front sway bar during full lock. But they will fit.

can I use a wheel spacer to bring them out to the stock location ??

You can. Just make sure they're quality ones.

any idea how much they would be off ?? 1/2, 3/4 ,1 inch ??
