Very Nice build. I think you did a great job on it, clean, simple.

Can you post a pic of your front rear spring mount setup? Also any updated pics of the trac bar setup and high steer and Tre's?

Also, one other thing, the rear 8.8, are those F-150 rear springs or Ex springs?

And you say OEM 5 leaf waggy springs, do you mean oem Jeep Wagoneer and if so what yr and I am assuming rear springs to a moderen wagoneer instead of a older 70's front springs due to the fact you mentioned 5 leafs pper pack and I think the front 70's units had like 7 or 8 leaf front packs.

We talked alot when he did his SAS so I can answer a few of your questions.

For his rear spring mounts take a look at my SAS registry, he pretty much did the same thing as mine (outriggers) except his shakles are a different mounting style at the bushing. Which is no big deal just a different style.

The leafs are from an 80's Jeep Grand Waggy. Mine were made from specs from an 89Waggy since that is year the axle. I have a 7 leaf pack, and I think he upgraded as well because they finally broke in and went flat.

The rear axle I am pretty sure is a stock F-150 axle, with stock EX leafs.

Did you use your rear hitch for a front cross member? (the front cross member looks super clean btw) All you need is a rear recovery point and a front driveshaft! Truck looks incredible!

It is a custom cross member, with a receiver welded on it. Like I said above he followed my build pretty close, so take a look at my reigstry and you will see how it is made.

Thanks, the fronts leafs are 0" lift stock leafs for a 89 Fullsize Wagoneer? Thanks for your input on this. I have his X as my wallpaper as when I get released from my surgeon, in about a month, I plan on doing this SAS.

I will look up your build sheet so that I have a user that is on here as a reference. Thanks again

Ya the rear is all stock springs. Front crossmember is made with hitch like stated. I am using 7 spring packs up front also. Ill get some updated pics its 5in lower and on 33x15.50s on 15x12s. Pretty sick now

A little update. Now running 4in super lift rear springs and 4 in rusty fronts. Body lift gone and 33/14/16.5 boggers on 16.5/14 Bart wheels. Got t case in 1354 manual bit cannot find a shifter. Running fabtec 2.25 dirt logic resivor shocks ummmm and a few other things. Anyone with a shifter assembly holla!

this is one ridiculous sick ride my friend

Thank you. Its my daily. I have a 04 is300 sport design but work for a logging company and can't get it back the trails. So far I'm happy

Anyone got ideas on how to truss a d44? My rear end broke in half and front is bent. Got a 10.25 being built for rear which will solve that problem but still need to come up with how to truss front end. Guess the 8.8 dont like jumping doubles. Beer + motocross track went real well for a while Tull tube broke at housing. But in a reality front is just bad enough to wear tires funny. Any ideas. I'm running 35x15.50 boggers on 15/14s now. I'll post pics soon.

Gorgeous truck man i envy you for sure! I wish you had pics with the wheels pulled in alot further just to get an idea of how itd look. How different are the rustys from the superlift springs? I was wondering how the SL springs would work up front

Rear springs are way longer. Rustys are smooth on front. I've put 45xxx miles on it all together

Rodger that, didnt even think of the length

Badass looking rig!

amazing truck but i would have to say i liked it better with the nittos

I have that same explorer and I'm drooling. Just drooling. How much you think a front end runs like that.
