hi, i don't know if anyone else has had this happen

it felt fine the last couple days, then last night when i was accelerating after a stop, it revved up a lot more than normal when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. same thing happened when it shifted from 2nd to 3rd but with a lot more revving. going about 65 70km/h it upshifted and ran for a bit at 2200rpm, but without notice, it downshifted and revved up to 4000rpm and acted like that the rest of the drive home, with lots of hesitation before shifting.

i have heard it may be a sensor or the whole tranny could be junk.:thumbdwn:

anyone have any help?

ok...and if they are fine, what else could it be?

The shift flare could be caused by a slipping band, dry servo, glazed band, failing EPC solenoid or a leaking valve body. Check the sticky threads on the top of the transmission section on shift flare issues.

ok. i have noticed at bit of a flare before, like maybe 300rpm, and now it is about 600. but when travelling it will downshift and then rev to 4000rpm.
