First... I'm sorry for posting a topic that has so many other posts. But I have read so many, and in most cases, the op doesn't come back with what actually fixed the issue they were having.
My truck started idling rough one morning and the CEL started to flicker while I was driving, when I checked it it was a P0304. It then stopped and ran fine for a day before it started again. When I checked the codes the second time it had added the P0174 code.
When I did a visual inspection I noticed the two vacuum lines that run to the PCV valve were collapsing inward (like a clogged straw) I changed the PCV valve and the lines, which didn't fix the issue.
After reading the posts here I also cleaned the MAF sensor, changed the spark plugs, and have ordered new plug wires.
I unplugged the wire to cylinder #4 and it runs the same with the plug wire off. Which is why I ordered the plug wires.
Is there anything else I should be looking at?
