So the body of my wifes explorer is still in good condition and it's been a champion so far. It has 203,x.. miles, oil looks good when we do oil changes but I find myself putting a quart or two in before next oil change. I'd like to make this explorer to look aggressive with a lift and big tires, 3" body lift for my AWD...
So motor and transmission wise should I look into having them inspected and rebuilt? From time to time the drivetrain jerks, haven't looked at any engine or transmission mounts yet.
I feel the body and frame would last another 10 years here in PA. Opinions and options?
