Looking for any help here. My 99 AWD Explorer recently started to make what I feel is a high rev noise from the front end when driving. I'm assuming it is coming from the transaxle but cannot be sure. The noise is certainly related to speed. The faster I go the louder it sounds. RPM's at about 60mph I want to say are around 1900-2000. I recently put on new tires but don't feel the noise is related as the sound came on way after tires were installed. I still need to get underneath the vehicle to inspect things. Just was looking to see if someone had similar issues and if there was possibly an easy fix or something specific to look for.
