Okay so 99 sport was a sohc v6 w auto

And you converted to a 99 v8 auto?

I’m guessing you just plugged the 42 wire connector together hoping it would all plug and play

Did you get the pcm, pats module, key and tumbler from the donor v8 truck and install them into the sport?
