99 Mazda B4000

I have a 99 Mazda B4000 that shift into drive it sound and act like it won't shift to overdrive it act like it in a lower gear. I was putting plug in and before that it shift fine in there anything in engine department I might have hit to make it do this?

It maybe just missfiring, this model doesn't like anything after market. I had to go back and get the original MOTORCRAFT plugs for it to run normal. Before replacing new plugs, make sure the wires are clipped onto the dist block. It is a pain, once it is removed but it could be as simple as a wire is not on tight.
