Mazda B4000

My friend has a 97 Mazda B4000 and I was just wondering if Im correct saying that this is basically a ranger with mazda trim. The suspension and drive train and all of that is the same as the rangers and explorers right?

Whatever applies to a 97 Ranger will apply to his truck.

97 was the last year of TTB in the 4x4 Rangers. Is his truck a 4x4 or 2wd?

I don't know when (or even if) 2wd Rangers switched from coils to torsion bars.

No torsion bars on any Ranger prior to '98 (same for '94-'97 Mazda)
