99 xlt power lock problem

i have a 99 explorer that i just picked up
so far im really diggin this truck

the one problem i have other then a bit of surface rust
is that the power locks will only work from the controls
in the rear hatch
i can lock and unlock all the doors from back there
and once the doors are locked i can unlock them with the remote
but other then that i get nothing from
the door controls or remotes at all

any and all help is appreciated

Do a search - there are lots of posts about this. Odds are that you have a wiring problem at a splice under the floor/trim next to the driver side rear seat. Look for pink/lt grn and pink/yel wires.
