99 XLT (V6 sohc) - towing

Can a v6 tow very much? Looking at adding a hitch and towing a jet ski. Any info appreciated.

From my own experience, I can tell you that my 4.0L SOHC Eddie Bauer towed a couple Saab 900SE's (on different occasions, of course) on tow-dollies without batting an eyelash - even on hills.

Your jet ski won't be any problem.

I use a Hidden Hitch; narra a problem.

The one I used to tow that boat was a Draw-Tite. I wouldn't recommend doing what I did over long distances, but from my parents' house ot the launch ramp was only 3 miles.
