99 xplorer bodylift,now no power

Just put a 3inch bodylift on a 99 xplorer. Ive got head lites. But it want turn over, no radio and windows want roll down. Thats just what ive found out so far.

yes i did. theres 2 of them on the frame. i wasnt sure if that would have any thing to do with it or not. also i heard a clicking sound that was in behind the air bag( or above the glove box) any ideas on that. were are the fuses for the air bags at.
 


















Ok got the ground strap on for the body. No power to any thing. When i hook up the jumper cabels. The hot post starts to smoke. Ive checked everything i could think of. Any ideas?
 






Have you checked the positive and negative on the battery to ensure they are not crossed or the negative cable is hooked up properly or that the positive is hooked up properly? Something is not right on the 2 cables as that would explain the smoke at hook up to the battery with jumpers.
 






Yes ive check the cables. Another thing ive seen was that the alarm lite was not flashing when the batter is hooked up.
 






check your neg battery connection .... the exact same thing happened to me and it was a loose battery connection. i cleaned everything up and made sure it was tightened down properly and she started right up
