Hello all. I purchased cam washers and 1.5 inch lowering blocks.I have been searching on this forum for hours searching thru the torsion twist threads but can not find what I'm looking for so here goes...
I have a 99xlt 4x4. The main question is where is the proper place to measure the suspension height before and after the twist in the front and rear block addition? Are there different alignment specs when lowered vs. stock? The camber washers are +/- 2 degree from NAPA. It looks like they just get installed on the nut side of the control arm bolts after removal of the stock washers. Do I have to do anything with the other side of the bolts ( washer removal) ?

Once all is installed and adjusted, is there a way to set the camber near enough to spec. to get to the alignment shop?

Thanks to all for the help.

do the torsion twist wait a few then take it for an alignment to see if you even need the cam bolts. mine didnt need the cam bolts it was within specs

how much did you drop and where did you make your height measurements from
(ground to wheel well)?

Ground or top of the tire to the center of the fender. Then just go till your -2. The the camber washers do get installed on the nut side but if you want to sent the camber yourself your going to have to pull the control arm as far out as you can get it. When you lower you get negitive camber.

Sounds good. Thanks for the help. This is going to be next weekends project.
