When I turn on the A/C in my 93 EB X the air get decently cold (between 50-55F) and the freon pressure is OK. Its been suggested it is the blower motor but the vents still blow halfway decently, and they dont intermittently cut out. It does however seem to blow more generously on the Passenger side of the vehicle, but this could be just how it was designed. The entire cA/C system seems to be running OK and there isnt leaks as far as I can see. Also is the vent at the rear of the middle console an intake vent or a blower vent? Any help you can pass on is GREATLY appreciated.

As far as I know the rear vent is a blower. Does it blow out of the screen vents more? If so this would indicate a vacuum leak so the vents don't open properly. Or the cable is out of adjustment. Try the vent position in various modes to check. Could just be something blocking the air intake (leaves etc) It is under the grille in front of the windscreen passenger side I think.
Just my 2pence worth anyway.

What do you mean by screen vents? The vents on the left side fo the car (eg the one next to the gauges and the one above the radio) doesnt blow very hard. And the one fo the right hand side blow VERY good. But not good enough to cool the entire car down. The rear blower at the base of the console hardly puts out air at all. Also no matter what I put the vent selector on the air comes out all the vents (floor vents also).

I meant the ones that demist the screen along the top edge of the dash. I think on your x they are all controled by wires the vent position one may have come loose or broken drop the heater control panel out and see if the flap moves when you move the lever.
