My Explorer got hit in the front by some drunk (dont D&D!!) in the winter. And guess what guys?? The A/C doesn't work anymore!! But I didn't realize until after it got fixed (it was winter). Free-on didn't do it...

Can I still get my insurance to cover this????

Are '92s prone to A/C problems?

Only way for you to get insurance to pay for it is to have it inspected by a Ford Technician at an authorized dealer and get a printed report from them stating what the problem is and how much to get it fixed. If the problem turned out to be caused by the accident (i.e. a pinched line, damaged parts, etc.) and wasn't repaired at the time your truck was fixed then you can get them to pay for the additional repair but it could be an uphill battle if you don't have a good insurance company.

Happened to me on my old Pathfinder about 6 years ago, luckily, State Farm did the right thing and had the problem fixed for me w/o any additional costs.

Good luck.
