- 2010 Ford explorer sport
Pulling my hair out at his point, my 2010 explorer has an intermittent compressor issue. works great below about 75 degrees but as the ambient temp warms up the compressor clutch will engage then disengage, frustrating. I have a local mechanic that works primarily on my 97 power stroke and is set up to charge a/c systems but he does not specialize in it. To date we have replaced the low and high pressure switches, clutch relay, drained and refilled system as well as checked for leaks, at this point I am at a loss, if I have to spend $1500-$2000 to fix it I'll get rid of it and find something else. On another note when the a/c does run I don't see any condensation drainage from the evaporator.
