Once again I have another Oldsmobile question, why cant the rest of my family just drive fords?

My mother has this 2000 Olds and the ac only runs when its in the mood to. The charge is good so I suspect the low pressure switch is the problem. I found the switch and pulled the plug, it has 3 wires a red, black and gray. Does anyone know which two I should jump to make it run?

I've seen several GM vehicles with the "sometimes" working a/c this summer. Most needed relays or resistors to cure them, but some had bad switches in the dash control console.

I can't advise anyone to start splicing wires together. If a switch is already bad, hooking up the compressor so it runs all the time will occasionally burn something, possibly the vehicle if there isn't any relay/fuse to stop a direct short.

Thanks again,
Bob
