My wife drives a 1999 Eddie Bauer with 120,000 miles. Yesterday she left work and the A/C began blowing hot. When it idled it got slightly cool, but when she accelerated it got hot. I had it serviced with Freon and the mechanic said it was the control panel inside the vehicle that was not working. Is there anything else it may be. They will have to order the panel and there is no returning it and I'd like to be certain before I spend $200+ on a part that might not fix the problem.
