Its hard to see in the pic, but yes, that looks like the low pressure side. Its by the accumulator which is where it normally is BUT I have seen it on the opposite side as the accumulator. The low pressure port is in the line that is NOT between the compressor and the condenser.

The nice thing is.. Low pressure and High pressure fittings on a r-134 system are different sizes. So, if you find the other fitting and look at it you will be able to tell your connector on the hose won't fit.

Correct.. Its one of those 2. I can't see enough of the engine bay in the pics to tell you which one is it...

BUT the lower pressure one is smaller so you know you'll be able to tell easily since you found both.

Thanks. First time trying it. Do you happen to know what psi it should be at? I think it uses R-134a but idk what pressure, haven't done it before and haven't bought the kit yet. Thanks again.

Buy a kit that comes with a gauge, on the gauge you will set the current temperature outside and it will tell you exactly what range of pressure it should be in. I believe (someone correct me if i'm wrong) but before you recharge you should take a key or screwdriver and press it on on fitting so that the excess air comes out.

Also, while charging turn you're AC on max and make sure you hear your compressor is spinning.

When you buy the kit it should have instructions

The low pressure side (where you want to charge) is the one in your first post. The one near the battery is the high side.

The pressure at which low should be charged to varies. Somewhere around 30-40 psi, give or take. Depends a lot on ambient temperature.

I can't see the pics, but it's the one on the passenger side towards the back you'll need.

Our vehicles need 22 oz to fill up the system too.

They're all different-it tells you on the decal on the radiator support (my 97 says 34 oz.)

Good call I was misinformed then.
