those pretty little flowers on your seat cover are cute, hehe. j/k, ride looks good :)

That's what I was gonna say, LOL, those flowers will scare the ricers away. :D :D :D

You have a really good looking truck. What size are your wheels?

I'll answer it for him, they're 17 inch KMC Hellions

Thanks for the quick reply. Hey Expo im asuming you dont have 4WD with two inches of drop. Right?

from the pic of his interior, it doesnt look like he has 4wd, but you can drop a 4wd truck 1.75" (maybe more.)

A five inch lift and some 33's;)

Your ride is awesome, I would say tv's if you are into that or a system that could break windows, a fiberglassed dash, air bags, custom paint, sliding rag top, or shaved door handles. I also got some questions for you:
How much did it cost to have your rocker panels shaved? and what did they do when they shaved them?

hrmm, i wonder if expo5.0 forgot about this thread, heh.

anyways, by "shave the rockers", i assume you mean shaving off that piece of molding that runs along the door? this is easy to do, you can do it yourself. use a hairdryer to heat it up, then use some fishing line to get behind the molding and "scrape" it off, then just use some mineral spirits to get the goopy residue off then just put some wax on the area, and youre done. i dont know what exactly expo5.0 did on his truck, but this is the method most people use to do this, and its the same method i used to shave my emblems.

good luck.

Still can't get over the seat covers.....

Tbomb - Thanks I am going to definitly try to do that over my x-mas break from school.

Expo - How do the two underbody kits look when they are on together?

well, i was flying home to minnesota from phoenix today so i didn't get a chance to answer earlier. i'll try to remember everything people asked. first of all my truck is the awd model and it still got a little more than a 2" drop. the neons look pretty cool. but i am going to take off the blue kit and use it to light part of my basement where my huge sony/bose surround sound system resides. i think just he white street glow gold kit will look almost as good as it does now, and my basement will be improved a ton. as for someone else putting two together, i would recommend it. i have a 4 different switches for the neons. one for two blues int he front, one for two blues one on each side, one for two whites one on each side, and one for the two whites in the rear. it's fun to play with, and people think it must have been expensive (it all cost me a little over 200). i agree about the system, but i get very, very good deals on car audio and i just couldn't resist selling my old system a couple of weeks ago. i had it for 4 months and sold it at a healthy profit. it consisted of 2 rf power 500w amps with two 12" dvc's and the same 6 by 9s and 4-channel amp i still have. with the money, i was able to pocket a ton and go out and buy what i have in their now. the good news is its still wired with 4 gauge and a distribution block so i can upgrade after christmas very easily. look for a big upgrade in the future. also you guys are exactly right on how i shaved the rocker panels.

i have a couple of questions. what new soft ride/street performance tires should i get mine are running out of tread? can you guys see the lumilogo in the pics? (it looks cool in person, but i can't get it to really show in a pic) is that cool, or too much? new mass air or bigger system which one comes first?

btw, don't rip on the seat covers. at least once a week a girl at a stop light asks me where i got them. they are a chick magnet. it's hte only mod you'll ever do that most girls can understand, and they all want them and therefore they want you as well.

So what you're saying is you've got something in your X that all chix want in theirs? lol

Why don't you remove the pinstripes? That was the first thing I did to mine and I think it makes a big improvement. Real easy too. Just peel em off and then wax the rig!

i'd love to but i can't. i've posted this a couple of times before but to make a long story short. an x girlfriend keyed my truck, a paint shop f'd up, and there are now distinct lines in the paint which my flames and pin stripe are hiding. i would prefer to have it clean and not have the stripes at all. but i think my flame stripes are the next best thing. that however was very good criticism, thank you. that is imo opinion the biggest weakness of my truck, i'm glad someone pointed it out.

How 'bout changing the pinstripes to a different color, say silver or something else subtle that doesn't stand out but that still covers the scratches?

dude, my pinstripe is silver! not in pictures with flashes, but normally the pinstripe is pretty blended in and has kind of a cool effect, if you look at it from the side you can't see it at all. but if you look at it from a fairly steep angle you can see it. The upper flames(with the pinstripe) are the same way. the lower flames can be seen all of the time. i just looked back at the pictures though and you really couldn't tell from them what the pinstripe looked like. thanks again, you think the same way i do. what i really need to do is pay to have the whole thing repainted. i'd love a flat grey with some pearl/orange/purple house of color ghost flames. that would be awesome, but it will probably never happen to this truck. it's just too old, not worth it.
