I went back out to Rowher Flats with my boss and his newly 31" BFG MT equipped GC yesterday to take advantage of the newly rutted trails after the rains we have been having here in Southern California. The trail was so much more difficult that we had to bypass the most difficult area after spending a good 2 hours trying to get up. Zero traction!!!

We also yanked a stuck 4Runner out after he backed down a hill with open diffs, smoking his tires the whole time.

How much lift goes your boss have on the jeep to get 31's under there? i know it's tight in the wheel well at stock. asking for knowlege so my best friend can get bigger.

Looks like fun! Where is that area?

He has the 2 inch 'budget boost'. Just polyurethane spacers at the top of his springs. Check at rustysoffroad.com. It could use a little more lift but he doesn't rub except at full compression.

JDraper, that locker works great. It came to me just fine, was easier than I thought to install too. Thanks. Allows me to keep up with or pass all the Jeeps out there.:D
