a friend suggest this for more air flow

remove the MAF unit and cut out the center post (back flow inhibitor)

anyone ever heard of this? he did in his mustang. said it worked

Ive heard of a lot of people doing it. Not sure how it works.

I dunno.. wouldn't the MAF still think the same amount of air was coming in? So you'd just be getting a leaner burn? All this stuff works together. Doubt it will help you.

The centerpost is there to prevent turbulence around
the MAF wires. Removing it would degrade performance,
I'd think.......
