A great message board!

Its really great to see another great message board out on the web. I have used message boards for all of my vehicles and they have paid off big time. Thank you to everyone who participates!

I have just inherited a 2002 Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition from my mother who sadly passed away from Pancreatic Cancer two weeks ago.

It has the V6 and 4x4. Where would you direct me to look in your site to find solutions for the following problems that I have found:
Passenger side window will not go down, I have tried the door switch on passenger door, the driver door, and all the other windows work perfectly.

Cruise control is off and will not turn on even for a diagnostic test. I was thinking fuse problem but I cannot locate where it would be? It is not shown in the user manual? In fact all of the fuses you would expect to find like windows etc are not listed, what gives?

The wiring harness that was the recall has been replaced but the orange plug is still installed. Should I swap this out?

So sorry for the loss of your mother. Sad way to acquire your Explorer, but you've definitely come to the right place.

I am not familiar with the 3rd gen Explorers. The best advice I can give, is to use our Google Search bar which is near the top, and bottom of every page. The Google search only looks within our site, and seems to do a better job than the built in search engine.
