Looking for a new project for my truck, I have decided to venture into a lift. Truthfully, I don't know too much about them, technically speaking. I am wondering what the best way to obtain a modest lift is. I've seen different terminology as I browse other threads, but I haven't been able to figure out what the most popular (or easiest) ways are. I'm not looking to need a ladder to get in the truck, just a few inches.

Any enlightenment would be useful! :)

the cheapest and easiest route would probably be doing a body lift ... available from www.4wheelparts.com

It depends on what kind of lift you want. You can get away with about 2" for -$100 plus an allignment. Then you can throw a body lift on that for another $180 DIY.
