ok its hard to explain what im getting at here but i am wondering if anyone has done the "modification" of putting those door length chrome pieces at the bottom's of their doors... i see them on a lot of trucks and i think that it would fit perfectly on the bottom portion of our doors (under the factory line).. if you look at your door you'll know where i'm talkin about.. but anyway do they make them for our trucks? has anyone had them put on? how much do they cost.. let me know as much info as possible.. thanks!

Also: if anyone can post a pic of what im talkin about that would be very helpful, thanks a lot!

I believe you are refering to Sill Plates.
But that's as much help as I can be.....

I believe i just happen to know what you are talking about...

They are basically chrome looking pieces you attach at the bottom of the doors. I have always heard of them referred to as a "rocker kit" but i'm sure their are other names for them

explorerexpress.com (site sponsor) carries them for something right around $100

look under 'moldings' (i think) on their site and you can find a pic of some installed

edit: well i just went and got you the link

shameless plug: I also happen to have a set for sale as listed in my sig. hit me in PM's if you are interested
