I just checked out the Badlands site today, and I read about the new Yellow Trail, and the rules for larger vehicles, and heres what I dont quite understand:

Open to Full size 4wd vehicles of 120" or less. Full size trucks of 107" - 120" will be allowed in the Rock Quarry only. A new "Yellow Trail" is under construction in the ATV park for the full size. Special forms must be filled out for all full size trucks.

Ok, does "full size" mean for 107-120 inch wheelbase vehicles, or does full size mean larger than 120 inch? They dont have a very good website, hard to find information.

I'd say they're talking about 120 and up. Trail is not ready yet but looks like they allow full size in the querry. Fun but only limited to a few tricks. I'd say wait till they open the Yellow and then go and check it in person. Nothing beats that.

Later,

here we go..i can see how that is a little confusing....this is what they meant...

Open to Full size 4wd vehicles of 120" or less. - The park is open to vehicles of wheel base 120" or less.

Full size trucks of 107" - 120" will be allowed in the Rock Quarry only. A new "Yellow Trail" is under construction in the ATV park for the full size. Special forms must be filled out for all full size trucks. - Trucks between 107" and 120" are restricted to the yellow trail and the quarry.

so basically thats saying that they still can't have any super huge long a$$ trucks in there anymore. technically the 4 doors and rangers fall into that category, but they can bite me, cause they let us in before. hehe..

they just don't want fullsizers in there tearing everything up. that's why they are making a fullsize trail. as far as wheelbases go, mine is 122" (xcab s10 ZR2) and I've been there 3 times with no problems. Troy ( the owner) has even seen my truck and said nothing. compact trucks should never be a problem. they've had problems with fullsizers
"blazing" their own trails which is what they don't want, hence the yellow trail. there is also a white trail under construction, I think, that is for bone stock stuff. so everyone can have fun. hope that explains everything.

steve!! where were ya on the turkey run man!? there was a zr2 there that i saw, but it wasn't you! Did ya ever make it otu there?

riffman, sorry I did not. We were busy. I really wanted to though. I'm itchin to get back, hopefully soon! When are you guys going next? How was the turkey run? let me know, later. :)

Well I'll have to check back there and see when those new trails are open, I cant wait to get up there again and me and dad wil show you guys just how much an old stock F150 banger can do, hehe :D From hub to hub on the pickup, its 137 inches, on the Explorer, its 114 inches, so ya riffman, they can bite me too :) But thats ok, we can go to the mine on weekends and theres plenty of places for wheeling there, they need to forget that reclamation and turn it into a 4wheeling park!
