A question regarding battery placement.

Does anybody know if I'd be alright mounting the battery behind the radiator? I don't think I'd have a problem with it (they're usually in bad circulation spots anyways) but I just want some other opinions as to weather it'd be too hot.

And FYI, clearance and space is a non-issue as my explorer is... a bit different. :D
 






Its fine.

Just be careful of catastrophic coolant leaks (busted hose) being blowing into the battery if you dont have a sealed unit. Maybe bend/weld up an aluminum shield (with some unadulterated raw "bro" flames) to go over the batt.
 






Haha, anything shiny would be so out of place on my 'sploder. Thanks for the input on this. I figured it'd be fine, just thought I'd ask. Tomorrow's tasks: Fab battery tray and radiator bracketry. :)
