Well as things normally go in my life, I set out to do one thing and wham i end up having to do something else. Today i figured i go get a radio from the pull a part yard, but then i remembered i needed to fill my washer fluid. Well the dam hood would not unlatch. I finally got it to work and i filled my washer fluid. I shut the hood and figured id be on my way. I got about 200 yards from my place and the hood flew totally open
. thank god nobody was on the road i got it down but it bent my passenger side wiper in an l shape. It crumpled the hood when it did that. Ok well I got it down but it would not latch. Ok when i got to my parents house where the tools are at it took me about 3 hours to get the hood 99% back where it should be so it does not hit the wipers of the plastic part around the wipers. I went the to pull yard got the latch, a wiper arm and i got my radio, and a trim part i needed. All for $42 , now the question. Is there a way to tighten up the cable that runs from below the steering wheel latch/lever to the latch itself. it seams to be way to lose and thus it will not unlatch enough for me to use the main lever in the grill. Come any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I really want to be able to latch my hood so it never again pops up and scares the hmmm hmm out of me. Oh ya the radio works again
