A stupid question

I was just wondering. Everyone talks that they have a 5.5" superlift sus. lift, but in the stores and catalogs there is only a 6" one. I am guessing that they are the same. Is that their mistake? Is the lift more 5.5" than 6"?

Superlift makes a 5.5" and Skyjacker makes a 6" I believe both are still being manufactured but I could be wrong.
