Yep, having the very same issue as others here. I have no overdrive. I do have 1,2,3 and TCC lockup which tells me the power to the solinoids is good. I did adjust the overdrive band this morning with no difference.


But I thought for a brief moment that it tried to go into overdrive while going downhill.

Is the pin outs on the pcm a good place to start at this point? If so, what wire and what kind of readings should I get.

I should get 0 ohms to ground till the pcm says it is time shift???

You only have 2 solenoids (TCC, and 3-4 OD). 1-3 are not electrically controlled like in the newer 4R, or 5R versions. Check your solenoids by the case connector with an ohm meter.

When I replaced my 2 solenoids last, I made a note in my manual of the readings. The 3-4 shift was 25.2, and the TCC was 27.7.

What is the resistance on your 2 solenoids?
