A4LD Repair Manual available?

I keep on searching all over the internet to find a good and complete (if possible with illustrated step by step procedures) repair manual for the A4LD transmission.

Since the tranny causes so much trouble, there must be several manuals out there that describe everything (disassemling, reassembling, diagnosis, etc.). The Haynes repair manual just says: "leave it to the mechanic", but that can't be the final solution...

I just ordered one off these guys, i believe its the ATSG manual, havent received it yet but i am hoping its a good one, supposedly it is from what i hear.

You can get the ATSG manual for US$16 at www.bulkpart.com I have never found any videos or better manuals for the A4LD and the ATSG manual is pretty poor. If you add it to the procedures posted here, you won't have any problem. Bulkpart will ship internationally but is $100 minimum. Add a gasket kit, clutches, and filter and you are just there.
