I had an opportunity to do some more troubleshooting and I have noticed that the pressure will build to around 160 as I accelerate to around 2500 rpm, and then as if in an attempt to shift into 2nd gear the pressure drops to around 75 psi and remains there unless I continue to give gas and then increases as it would if the transmission was in park or neutral. I still have the problem with a 35 minute delay for forward, but after the transmission has shifted into forward gear, it usually only takes about 6 seconds to engage from park, neutral, or reverse.
