You would need to swap in the computer from a '95. The "E" in the name stands for electronic which means that the computer controls what the tranny does and not the vacuun created by the engine. Physically, thet are the same.
Thanks. Mine went out and I almost got the wrong one.It has 195,000 miles on it and I dont want to put a lot of money in it right now. I found one out of a 95 Expolrer for $400 but if it wont work I will have to look elsewhere.
