A4LD Won't Shift When Cold

Hi, I am new to this site my name is Erik I've got a 93 Eddie Buar. I just had a quick question about the transmission. I recently had it changed and seems to be doing great except when I first start it up in the mournings and try to leave without warming it up it will stick in first until I manually shift it into second and back into drive then works perfectly fine. I was wandering if someone had any idea as to what the problem could be here. Please Help

You have a classic case of a sticky governor. Do a search using the search term governor and you will turn up a lot of stuff on it.

Ok, Thanks for your help ... I guess I didnt flush the lines out well enough then because everything worked fine until I got about 100 miles on the tranny. Thanks again
