1992 ford explorer wont shift into second gear unless i dive it around for 5-10 minutes around 25 or 30mph

its a 4x4 auto and 4x is not on.

i also have no park

when i shift into park its like nEUtral and reverse is correct neutral is also correct overdrive and drive is correct. there is a 2 and a 1 on the colum but my truck will go into those gears from the steering culom. i think the linkage is rigged by my tranny

what could cause it to not shift till warm? I CHANGED TRANS FILTER

ALSO MY LIGHT THAT SAYS REAR ANTI-LOCK IS ON

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmissions section. It sounds like there are a few problems that are unrelated. A delayed shift when it's cold is usually the symptom of a sticking governor. The next problem sounds like the shift cable needs to be adjusted. The last problem is in the ABS system. You have to count the flashes of the ABS light when it enters a diagnostic mode. There is a way to ground one wire on the ABS module to get it to go into this mode. The code will tell you which part is causing the fault.
