WHAT'S UP, X HEADS!!! GOT A FEW QUESTIONS IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME , I HAVE A 97 5.0, WILL 96 X HEADERS FIT ON MY TRUCK, I KNOW ABOUT THE EGR (I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT), DO THEY MAKE A PHENOLIC SPACER FOR MY INTAKE, AND DO I GET A MAJOR POWER INCREASE WITH THE E-303 FMS CAM, THANKS FOR ANY INFO THAT ANYONE CAN GIVE ME

The 1996 Headers will fit on your 5.0, but they aren't much of a performance gain. Instead, get the Ford Motorsport headers. They are like the 1996 headers but better. Note, they do not have the port for the EGR. If you don't connect it, your car will throw codes.

if yer willling to void the warranty on the headers, when you gettum just find out where the EGR goes, and make yourself a port.

I've been told aftermarket headers do nothing for our trucks, personally I wouldn't bother, but, it may be a good idea if you plan to do a supercharger or something else very big.

yeah , i got the headers for a 96 x out of the ford racing catalog, i will probably get a chip burnt with the egr deleted
