i own a 92 explorer sport, 31" tires and a 3" suspension lift. I finally made the decision to add a 3" body lift and add-a-leaf to the rear. I don't mind spending a weekend on this project, however my truck i use for normal driving,so i need it for work on monday. I have been endless reading all the posts about body lifts. Basically half way through the project i don't want to realize i need to buy an extra part, and wait weeks to get it, i just want to know what i am getting into and the extra costs involved. The P.A. lift kit seems to be the cheapest, but everyone seems to have their own opinion of its flaws. SO can you guys help me out? What are the extras i am going to need to buy and what companys make a good size add-a-leaf???
