ok, i got a sct xcal-2 programmer from james henson. i paid over $400 with shipping. it currently has 3 tunes. i might be in a situation where im going to need money. i had an error with my unemployment and i might be out of money for a couple weeks. i will know more monday. but this thread is if it came down to it, and i had to sell my programmer, what could i get for it? im not trying to sell it here or anything at the moment. im just trying to see what i can get for it if i have to sell it. i know i gotta return my truck back to stock. its in mint condition, i have the package and directions, the usb cable, the sct cd with livelink and liveload 3 plus other stuff on it.and everything with it. im thinking i could get at least $200. i mean thats half off. any ideas please.i looked on ebay and saw some from $150 and up. im hoping when i call the unemployment office monday i can get everything taken care of. thanks.

28 views and no replies? i guess i pretty much answered my own question by looking on ebay to get an idea on prices. like i said, hopefully i don't have to sell it. i really love this programmer!

Here's the deal, the SCT is only as valuable as it's base price, the tunes are worthless to any except those that have the exact same mods, axle code, calibration code or Strategy, tire size and local octane levels.

Pretty much gonna be a lucky shot at best.

so someone with an explorer could use my tunes? they could go into the settings and change what ever they want to suit there vehicle. or just get new tunes sent to them.
