ABS help needed!

Hi! Last week the ABS light panel tuned on. I know something most de wrong, but what? So I dont know nothing about this kind of systems so Im asking you guys what are the common problems with it. The Explorer guarante has expired (< 50k miles).

Im taking it to service but Im not confident in my knowlege in ABS and I dont want to be decive. Thanks for any help.

Maybe its just a bad sensor. Take it to a mechanic and have him check to see if there are any codes. Thats what I did only to find out that the braking systems ECU (electronic control unit) and HCU (hydraulic control unit) are shot. I got a few prices for the ecu which ran from $350-600, and the HCU was a little cheaper. I can only imagine what labor is going to cost. So I came to a conclusion, as long as my truck stops, I am not going to get this stuff fixed
