Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 91-94 section. A lot of parts are different between the 1st generation, and the 2nd generation.
They are pricey, I took it completely out of my latest project. But its also going to be used mostly on the trail.
It IS possible to convert to a conventional brake system without needing a new master and other components. Just tie in new brake line and bleed. I don't know how the inspection laws are where you are though. Here in Kentucky, as long as you have some cash you can get a registration decal every year.
