ABS issues on a 97 Ranger.

My 99 Ranger ABS engages when it shouldnt causing difficulty in stopping under normal conditions and I hear a loud creaking noise from time to time on the right side. Unsure of the problem HELP!!!!!!

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed, and moved your thread to the Ranger section. Did you take the wheels off to clean everything? ABS sensors could false trigger if they get dirt stuck on the sensing area.
