I had one time slipped off the road into a ditch in my 91 Sport, every now and then my ABs light seems to come one. Is on more often then not. Is there a way that i can fix this? Or check the sensor? Any help is appreciated!

Your '91 explorer has only rear anti-lock brakes. The problem 9 times out of 10 is the rear anti-lock sensor going bad. Remove the sensor which is located on the top of the rear axle housing and held on by a 13mm bolt. Check the resistance of the sensor with an ohm meter. Should be between 1500-2500 ohms. If it is open and showing no resistance the sensor is bad.

AJ,
If the brakes are functioning properly then it is probably the wheel speed sensor contacts. Clean em'. I had the same problem on my 94 Explorer and that was the problem. Hope this helps.
