- 2000 Ford Explorer XLT V6
Hi All,
Just picked up a 2002 Explorer Limited V8 with 131k on the clock. I replaced my wrecked '97 Explorer.
Anyway, I bought this with the ABS light on. I was okay with it because I thought it was probably just the rear sensor. During the test drive and on the entire drive home (90 miles), everything was fine except for the ABS light. I just made a trip to the bank to deposit a check and noticed that now the 4x4 HIGH light is blinking. Four wheel drive high and low still engage and work just fine.
I have read a lot of forums tonight but the majority of them say that their four wheel drive ISN't working while mine is. Any guidance would be lovely! What should I check, what should I replace? I have a USB-OBDII tool, is there a piece of software I should get to read the ABS codes? Autozone says that they can't scan for ABS.
