ABS light is on constantly, but the 4x4 light is flashing.

Have a 2003 Eddie Bauer, 90k, this is an excellent SUV.

While driving with out any warning the ABS light came on solid and the 4x4 light flashed a number of time but the is no patten. When you try to make a tight turn the tires grab as if the 4x4 in engaged.

The 4x4 hight engages when the 4x4 high is pressed. First thought it may be a seized/defective CV joint.

I have not have the codes read or the CV inspected due to the holidays.

Problem solved

the wheel bearing was gone on the front right side. replaced the hub assembly everything was fine.
