Alright guys, need some help... just changed both front hubs on my 1995 XLT 4x4 (ebay 139.99/pair). Old ones came off with no problems and new ones went on just as easily, both sides done in 2 hours. Took it for a test ride when finished and everything was fine, just ran down to the gas station and on the way home the ABS light came on. Shut the explorer off and restarted, no light, abs light came back on shortly after moving again. What could it be????

Did you connect the black wheel sensors that go into the hubs? Did you damage them when you R/Red the hub? You get my drift...that is VERY likely your issue.

disconnect the sensor at the connector near the frame rail.. get some compressed air and spray both ends and try again.. If it comes back it may be a bad abs sensor or the sensor in the rear axle.

The front sensors are very expensive. Raise the front end, unplug the sensor, and put an ohm meter on the sensor at the hub, as you rotate the tire you should get variations in the readings. If you do, they should be good, then go to the rear center pig and replace that one. ( IT'S ALOT CHEAPER ) LOL Good luck.

You mean an A/C voltmeter. coil OHMS will never change.
