I'm trying to find out how many abs sensor fins are on the backside of the front brake rotors. Of course I could just jack up the front, pull the wheel, hub, spindle nuts, bearing, and rotor off, then just count them myself, and then put it all back together...but I was hoping that someone might have a loose one sitting around that they could just count and save me the work.
It would be greatly appreciated!
I'm building a digital speedometer/odometer that as of now uses the speed sensor on the transfer case output to keep track of vehicle movement, but I've found that at low crawling speeds the sensor signal gets too weak for my circuit to read. So I'm considering using the ABS sensor signal to trigger the circuit instead, as it should generate many more pulses per wheel revolution than the t-case speed sensor, and should be readable at lower speeds.
