i have rebuilt 1 X from 2 smashed ones. Everything is working except for an ABS light on the dash is always on. it doesn'st shift into overdrive either, the speedo doesn't work and the steering jolts in the wheels when i put on the gas into a corner(steers fine without gas). I queried a few people about what this might be and everyone said it was the rear sensor. i bought a new sensor and plugged it in this arvo and no change. are there any other problems that other people have had that wasn't the rear sensor but was related to the ABS light on the dash? I'm cautious about taking it to a regular mechanic because it is such a specific problem and the ford dealers are charging $100+ perhour labour just to identify the problem. And still i may not get a result. any insight would be most appreciated.
