You need to have the ABS codes scanned and that will determine the source of your trouble.

Good luck .........

You can also check the ABS sensors resistance for open circuits. Two on the front and one on the back. When the coil is open the ABS light would turn on.
The two on the front is easy to check by disconnecting the connector near the front bumper. The one on the axle may be a little harder to get at.

My ABS light came on yesterday on a trip from Houston to New Orleans. I read someplace on this site about the rear sensor being the most troublesome sensor. I checked with an ohm meter and found it to be open. I went to Auto Zone and was told that they didn't sell these, have to go to a dealership. Will do tomorrow and replace - hope my troubles will be solved, will let you know.

I got my rear sensor (Raybestos) at Kragen's Auto Supply for $12.99. That solved the problem for me. A rear sensor from the dealer is about $21.

Thanks for the info guys ..
