ac charged----> low idle

My first guess would be the IAC. Thats the piece that regulates the idle...
It is possible that the IAC isn't working and that when the a/c had a low charge that the A/C compressor never really turned on.. (there is a low cut-off switch to turn off the compressor if the pressure gets too low).. Now that the system is charged the a/c compressor is turning on and staying on and without the IAC to lift the idle when the a/c is on, it idles low.
Easy way to test the IAC.. Turn on the a/c.. unplug the IAC.. if the idle drops, then its not the IAC (at least it is working somewhat).. If the idle doesn't change at all, the IAC isn't working.
