Low Idle

My 99 XLS seems to be idleing to low, the rpm reads aprox 660-700. The truck seems to hum at this low idle. Is this normal, if not what can be done.

Is that in gear or out of gear?

How loud is the hum? If it is very loud, then the problem is your IAC, idle air control valve. It either needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Though 700 isn't that low of an idle, does it idle rougher than normal?
